This product is the dried root of Stephania tedra S. Moore, a plant of the Fanggenaceae family. Pick them in autumn, slice them thinly, remove the rough skin, dry them in the sun until they are semi-dry, cut them into sections, and cut the larger ones lengthwise and dry them.

Pharmacology
